Filename with french accent badly downloaded / windows

when I download a directory with files named with accents, like “comptabilité.odt” the accented letters are not well translated in the downloaded zip file, thus making it unusable under windows 7. could it be possible for nextcloud to make zip files with windows compliant caracter set ?

I believe it is solved by now, right?

No ; even with NC12 I have the same issue : I created a “essai” folder, and inside a “comptabilité.txt” file.
when I download the “essai” folder I get a essai.zip file with my docs inside, but the "comptablité.txt file is badly written “comptabilit+®.txt”

Ok, looks like a known issue.

I’m following it, and will update when there is a fix.

Thanks for the report!

I am not sure it is the same issue.
this bug is about corrupted files.
my bug is about bad ASCII/unicode transcription between an Unix server and a windows client, via the zip program on the server.
could you find which zip utiliy is used on the unix server and if different parameters can be applied for windows clients ?

I just tried, and it is working fine on my linux, could you try with
another zip utility?

Essayé avec 7zip : ça fonctionne OK. Le PB est donc avec la fonction ZIP de windows. Merci du tuyau !
